Obituary of Clarence D. Robinson
Clarence D. "Bummer" Robinson, 61, of Harrison Avenue, Amsterdam, passed away Monday morning at St. Mary's Hospital in Amsterdam, after a short illness.
Born June 21, 1946, in Amsterdam, NY, he was the son of the late Harold F. and Dorothy M. McClary Robinson. He attended local schools.
Clarence was employed by Consolidated Novelty Company in Amsterdam, Bonded Insulation of Hagaman, and Coleco Industries. He was last employed as an assembly packer for Liberty Enterprises, and just recently retired.
He attended St Luke's Lutheran Church. He loved to fish, play bingo and work.
He was predeceased by a companion Rosalie Cullen James.
Survivors include two sisters Dorothy M. Yager, and Harlene F. Robinson, both of Esperance; two brothers Daniel E. Robinson of Rockwood, NY and Ronald A. Robinson of Tribes Hill, NY.; his Liberty family and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday evening at 6pm at the Betz, Rossi, & Bellinger Family Funeral Home, 171 Guy Park Avenue, Amsterdam, NY, with the Reverend Pascal Iannotti officiating. Burial will take place on Thursday at Perth Cemetery in Perth, NY.CCalling hours will be held Wed 5:00-6:00 pm at the funeral home.
