Obituary of Sadie E. Broswski

Sadie E. Broswski, 99, passed away Thursday evening at the Edward L. Wilkinson Residential Health Care Facility in Amsterdam where she has resided for a number of years. Born June 5, 1908 in Amsterdam, New York, she was the daughter of the late Fred and Eda Frey Broswski. She attended local schools and was a life long Amsterdam resident. Sadie was employed by the Bigelow Sanford Carpet Mills for a number of years. She was a member of the Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in Amsterdam. Survivors include several nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 1, 2008, at 1:30 pm at the Betz, Rossi & Bellinger Family Funeral Home, 171 Guy Park Avenue, Amsterdam with the Rev. William T. Hodgetts Jr. presiding. There will be no calling hours. Burial will take place in Fairview Cemetery in Amsterdam. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Sadie's memory to the Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church, 40 Guy Park Avenue, Amsterdam, NY 12010.
