Linda, Doug, Jared and Family,
My family has been truly blessed to have had such a wonderful neighbor as Mickey. She was always so warm and welcoming. Her smile and laughter were so contagiuos. Her thoughtfulness was always to be treasured. To this day, I have the sweaters she knitted my girls when they were infants. Growing up, I will always remember the "Doug summers" and running through her yard going to and from the creek with whatever critter we caught, hide and seek and tag in the back yards and always feeling welcome in her home. Then, I saw my oldest doing the same. In more recent years, I treasure that she was a comfort to my mother.
