I took care of Thursdons wife for a couple of years and he was always a happy person and enjoyed life I lived in glen for 25 years and we would always see Thursdon in his garden and he always gave me flowers to give to my mother. He would bring them to Mrs. Pullen too. He always brighten their day with that act of kindness. Iwill remember him fondly.

I first met Thurston when I inspected one of his experimental airplanes. I was a FAA Inspector at the time. We became friends and saw each other about once a year, at the fair or he would ride down to my place on his motorcycle or I would drop in to see him when I visited the farm store. I amired the loving care he gave his wife. He was truly a mans man.I leave for Europe today so can not attend the service. So long my friend Thurston until we meet again. Bob
