To Dylan's Family,
I am sorry for your loss.Dylan was a very nice boy. Even though I didn't know him well, I always heard great things about him in school. I remember his face and his laughter in the hallways. He seemed to be very well liked. I am sure you are proud of him. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Thinking of you all.

Mary, Dave, Will & Hunter,
You know how much our family loves yours already, but we believe that Dylan was one of the bravest and truly kindest person that we know. He had such a heart of pure gold with no hate or bad words about anybody or anything. He definitely did not deserve the cancer that ravenged him and you guys definitely did not deserve to have to witness him go through all he did.
Mary, from a mother to a mother, I believe you are also one of the bravest. I do not know how you managed to hold yourself together like you did, except the fact that as mothers, that is one of our jobs but I cannot even begin to imagine your pain.
Dave, you are truly one great step-father. I know that you loved Dylan and treated him as your own and I know that he loved you too.
Will, you were a great big brother and really stepped it up to help out when needed. I know that Dylan looked up to you and loved you so much.
Hunter, you were Dylan's best play buddy. I know that you will miss him terribly, but he will be watching you play with those wrestlers everytime you pick one up!
We love you guys as part of our own family and we will also miss Dylan with all of our hearts. However, we know that he is young and healthy again, playing with his dad and Abby up in heaven.
We also send our sympathy to his grandparents, great-parents, and everybody else in the family.
We love you,
Loni, Charlie, Kyle, Tyler & Logan

My deepest sympathies are extended to everyone in Dylan's family. I enjoyed having him in my class in grade six and will always remember his humor and kindness. He especially enjoyed, and excelled at, all our hands-on science projects. While I was substituting, after I retired, he stopped in my room to say hello and reminisce about the "B team." We had a great conversation.
I hope your faith and family get you through these difficult times. My heart and prayers go out to you.

I wish to extend to all of Dylan's family my most sincere sympathy. I remember Dylan as my student in sixth grade and my best memories are of his wit and humor. He had a way of making so many of his friends and classmates and teachers smile and laugh. His sense of fun and humor were some of his greatest attributes and the ability to cheer others is quite a gift. He shared it often.
I hope that knowing how many people Dylan touched in his life will bring comfort to you all as time passes. I will say a sincere prayer for him and all of you.
