Obituary of Joanne Dorothy Kasza

Fonda, NY-Mrs. Joanne D. Kasza, age 71, of Fonda, passed away on Tuesday, Feb. 7, 2017 at Albany Medical Center after a brief illness. She was born on July 4, 1945 in Buffalo, daughter of the late Frank Molnar and Dorothy Molnar of Kenmore, NY. Joanne was educated in Kenmore schools. On February 20, 1965 she was united in marriage with Paul Kasza in Maryland who preceded her in death. She was last employed with Dr. H. Rehman, Amsterdam as a receptionist. Mrs. Kasza loved her family and enjoyed teaching her granddaughters how to cook and bake cookies. She was talented with arts and crafts and enjoyed sewing. Survivors include her mother, Dorothy Molnar of Kenmore; sons, Ronald Kasza of Fonda and Eric Kasza of Ballston Spa; a daughter, Amy Meier and husband Robert of Clinton; daughter, Kathleen Moynihan of Haverhill, MA; a brother, John Molnar of Kenmore, NY; her cherished grandchildren, Jenna, Kaycie, Jamie, Ava and Hannah. She was predeceased by a sister, Patricia Rusek of Cheektowaga, NY. In keeping with her wishes, services will be privately held at Jackson and Betz Funeral Home, Fultonville.
