Obituary of Timothy Bell

Timothy Bell, 28, of Academy Street, Amsterdam, passed away suddenly Tuesday morning at Ellis Hospital with his loved ones at his side. Born in Albertville, Alabama on January 27, 1980, he was the son of Jerry Lane and Venice "Phyllis A. Wilkerson Bell. He was raised in Rainsville and moved to this area three years ago. Tim was employed as a truck driver for various companies. He loved Nascar and had an extensive Dale Earnhardt collection. Tim will be lovingly remembered for his Forrest Gump line "Life is like a box of Chocolates… you never know what you're gonna get" and "part-tay on !" He will always be Sparky for his beloved Christie and Chocolate Chip Love Muffin for Kandi , and live forever in the many hearts he touched in his brief life. He leaves behind his beloved fiancé Christie Davis of Amsterdam; Mamma and Daddy Jerry L. and Phyllis A. Bell of Shiloh, Al.; brothers; Edward D. Bell of Boaz, Al., and Steven D. Bell of Rainsville, Al.; sister; Daisy J. "Sissy" Gilbert of Dawson, Al.; children; Austin Bell of Roselie, Al., Zachery T. Haynes of Fyffe Al., James Davis and Destinee Robinson both of Amsterdam, NY; his future in laws; Barbara and the late Pepe Homs of Amsterdam and Skip and Donna Van Alstyne of Gloversville. Tim was predeceased by a daughter Molly Grace in 2003, and a brother Austin David Bell in 1978. A service to celebrate his life will take place this evening at 8 pm at the Betz, Rossi & Bellinger Family Funeral Home, 171 Guy Park Avenue. Relatives and friends are invited and may call from 6pm until the time of the service. Interment will take place in Fyffe, Alabama. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Christie Davis in care of the funeral home office, so that she can honor Tim's wish to be brought home.
