Richard was one of my best friends when I was young. We had many wonderful days together playing in his Grandfathers garden area in back of his house. I remember sitting on top of the shed behind the garage reading one summer when I was stung by 3 yellow jackets. Although it hurt initially, we laughed about it for hours. Strange the things we remember. We used to sit on the porch and play cards, or go into the small wooded area over the wall by the house and catch bugs. We hadn't been in touch for many years, but Richard was a great friend and someone I have remembered and will continue to remember for the rest of my life. My sincerest condolences, luckily for me I will still have him in my memories.

I was saddened to hear of the loss of Richie. I first played softball against Richie and then we became teammates for Libers Blue. Not only was he a great teammate, but an even better person.
Throughout the years - whenever I saw Richie, he would always get that grin on his face, come over, squeeze my hand and say, â??Howâ??s it going buddy?â? It did not matter where he was, softball, bowling alley, or at a store.
I will miss him for his sincere kindness. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
May God bless.

I can't imagine the shock and grief that you are in right now. Nothing that I can say could make this easier for you, but please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you. Rich was a great guy!
The one thing I remember the most about him was the fun we had when he came to the insurance office and you and I would pin notes to his shirt and send him off back to you or on to Motor vehicle for the transfers for the car.
I can not believe that he is gone. Rich was so young and active. Please know that if there is anything I can do to help, don't hesitate to call.

Dear Karen, Dan and Amanda,
Words cannot express the sadness we feel for your loss. I will so miss hearing those familiar words, 'Hey Honey' and seeing that smiling face and wave as he rode by or after being spotted in a store. Rich always had a kind word to say about everyone, and no one can can say anything but kind words about him now. He loved his family, Chuck, having fun, his sports and life in general. He brought so much joy to all he touched. May your love and memories comfort you during this truly difficult time.

Shock is the first word that comes to mind. Just a few short weeks ago I had run across Rich in one of the stores while I was still working for Polar Beverage. I was always kidding with him to keep the brownies with the colored sprinkles in stock because my kids loved them. He always had a big smile on his face and was quick to joke around with almost everyone. He will be missed greatly by everyone. Now when I go to buy Little Debbie products I will always think of Rich - "The Little Debbie Guy" with that BIG SMILE! May God be with you and your family in these trying times. I was saddened to hear of the passing of my friend, Rich. Rich and I had known each other for a number of years and I would listen for his familiar knock on a daily basis at the receiving door of the Amsterdam Wal-Mart where I work. What I will remember most about Rich was his sense of humor, upbeat personality, and ability to have fun wherever he went. He brought laughter and friendship not only to myself but also to many associates of our Wal-Mart store who will also remember him fondly. His unexpected death is a reminder to us all that life is short and every day should be lived as the gift it truly is. I will miss him. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Even at the softball games.... never expected him to be sharing dog treats between him and Chance my dog. When I asked him what he was doing after I noticed he was chewing on something..he said he was hungry and wanted a snack. So he decided to do the "1 for me, 1 for you" thing with Chance.
