Obituary of Margaret L. Baker

Margaret L. Baker of Gloversville passed away Monday, June 23, 2008 at Albany Medical Center. She was born August 21, 1941 in Elizabethtown, N.Y the daughter of John and Elizabeth Corbett Mitchell. A homemaker most of her life, Margaret was an avid reader. She loved humanity and enjoyed visiting with her friends. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her. Survivors include a son, James Baker Linda of Lake Havasu, Arizona; a daughter, Terri Baker of Gloversville; two brothers: Harry Mitchell Linda and Les Mitchell Diane; three sisters: Alice Borden Alan, Ann MacDougal Lenny"Pooh Bear" and Ruby White Elmo; four grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews and cousins. A funeral service will take place Wednesday, July 2 at 1:00 p.m. at the Walrath & Stewart Funeral Home, 51 Fremont Street, Gloversville with the Reverend R.W.Williams presiding. Friends and family are welcome to attend. Cremation will take place at Park View Crematorium, Schenectady. Donations may be made in Margaret's memory to the charity of one's choosing.
