Obituary of Madeline Luciano
Mrs. Madeline Luciano, 79, of Shirley Street, Tribes Hill, passed away unexpectedly, Friday, July 4, 2008 at St. Mary's Hospital. Born on September 23, 1928 she was the daughter of the late Antonio and Maria Zazzerio.
A lifelong area resident, Mrs. Luciano attended local schools. She was employed as a cashier for Kmart in Amsterdam until her retirement. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John P. Luciano, Sr.
Her loving family includes, her son John P. Luciano, Jr. and his wife Linda of Tribes Hill; her companion John F. "Jack" Waschak; a sister, Annette Pochily and her husband Robert of Deerfield Beach, FL; a sister in law, Theresa Ripepi and her husband Tom of St. Johnsville; two grandchildren, Benjamin Luciano and his wife Suellen of Virginia Beach, VA and Anthony Luciano and his wife Jaime of Gloversville; four great grandchildren, Claire, Reid, Alexa and Emmily; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday, July 8, 2008 at 11 o'clock at Sacred Heart Roman Catholic Church in Tribes Hill, with Rev. Kevin Kenny OFM Conv. as the celebrant. Interment will follow in St. Cecilia's Cemetery. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Tribes Hill Volunteer Fire Department, G.A.V.A.C. or to the American Heart Association in care of the funeral home office.
