Obituary of Joan M. O'Neill

Wells Joan M. O'Neill, 62, of Pumpkin Hollow Road passed away Saturday, July 19, 2008 at St. Mary's Hospital in Amsterdam following a long illness. She was born in Schenectady August 10, 1945 a daughter of the late Albert and Sara Cummings Raymond. Joan was a resident of the Wells area for over 20 years, having previously lived in Duanesburg. She was married to Robert J. Oneill of Schenectady on July 29, 1971, who predeceased her on May 4, 2005. Joan was a loving and caring individual who always put the needs of others before her own. She was a devoted mother and grandmother who enjoyed caring for her family and for her beloved dogs. She will be sadly missed by all whose lives she has touched. Her loving family includes her son, Timothy O'Neill and his wife Carrie of Wells, two daughters, Erin O'Neill and Megan O'Neill, both of Wells, a granddaughter, Brooke O'Neill of Wells, a brother, Albert Raymond and his wife, Theresa of Schenectady, two sisters, Frances Fazzone of Florida and Carol Adams and her husband, John of Delanson, and extended family members, Robert and Nancy Kaczinski of Bucks County, PA. Several nieces, nephews and cousins also survive. Funeral Services will be private and at the convenience of Joan's family. Arrangements have been entrusted to Betz, Rossi & Bellinger Family Funeral Home, 171 Guy Park Avenue, Amsterdam.
