Hi Dad!!! I haven't talked to you "on line" in a long time and wanted to fill you in on the latest news even though I think you already know. Matt got engaged to Julie! We are very excited and are starting to plan for this summer...can you believe it? This summer!!! How I wish you could be there with Mom and us...but I know that you will be there with us in spirit and we will keep you close. Just keep looking out after all of us, okay? I love and miss you so much..thinking of you every day and loving you always....

Gosh, Dad, I can't believe it's been over a year since I last talked to you. I've gone through this past year day by day and trying not to think too much, however, now that's it's been a year, it's almost more hard than it was before. So many things have happened since you slipped away from us. Matt graduated from Clarkson and will start his job in September. Caitlyn and Alison are growing by leaps and bounds and are becoming full fledged teenagers..and, we've had Maisy for a whole year! I keep reflecting back to the day that we brought her home and went to your house...that was the last time that I saw you! My heart still breaks over that. Just know that you are are in my heart always and not a day goes by that I don't think of you. I hope you are resting comfortably in Saratoga. I miss you so much and will love you forever.

Here I am again, Dad....Just wanted to let you know that Mom is home again safe and sound. Bob went to Florida to get her. I already know that you know this, but just wanted to tell you anyway. They had a nice ride back and Bob will be here for a few more days. Dave is coming in tonight and Mom and Bob will go to Dave's parents house for dinner. Today is beautiful outiside and everything feels like it's going to bloom.
We celebrated Mom's birthday last night. You were missing from the table and it was a little weird but we got through it. Aunt Helen is home now too and I'm sure that we will all get together during the summer.
Always thinking of you.
Lot of Love,
me

Hi Dad....
I have been wanting to write to you for a while but just couldn't get my thoughts together. I really wanted to send you this before Chrismtas...sort of like a Christmas card of sorts, but everytime I started to write, too many tears came and it was just too hard.
Today I decided that it was time to tell you that I missed you and Mom so much during the holidays. It just wasn't the same for me. We hung a special decoration on the tree for you and I'm going to put your picture in it...Alison cried a lot and so did I. We just miss you.
Steven mentioned several times during the holidays that he missed your cabbage salad and that I can't make it the same as you did. I think I'll have to try and make it again for New Years, but it will never be the same as yours!
I know you know that I think of you all the time...and I wish wish wish that you could be back here with us. Just know that we all love you and think of you all the time...
Lots of love is being sent up to you...xx

Hi Dad,
Thanksgiving is coming up and it's going to be so different this year without you. I know that you already know that I drove mom to Florida and then we went on the cruise. You guided us the whole way to Florida and were with us while we were there.
Mom is doing okay but I know she's sad and lonesome for you...she puts up a good front. I am really happy that we had two weeks to be together ... we had a great time...not the same as if you were there...but it was still really special.
The next week preparing for the holiday is going to pull at all of our hearts...We know you are with us, but it's still never going to be the same. I just wanted to tell you that I love and miss you terribly.
