Obituary of Charles A. Keller

Charles A. Keller, Jr., 54, of Academy Street passed away Thursday, July 24, 2008 at the Albany VA Medical Center following a brief illness. He was born in Albany on July 1, 1954, son of the late Charles A. and Louise Aimeral Keller. Charles was a life resident of the area and was of Roman Catholic Faith. He served as a Corporal in the US Marines during the Vietnam War era. Charles married the former Sandra Pitcher at St. George Roman Catholic Church in Albany in November of 1980. He worked at Freihofer's Bake Shop in Albany and recently retired, due to his illness. Charles was a very philosophical man who very much enjoyed reading and writing, especially about the Puritan Era. His loving family includes his wife, Sandra Keller of Johnstown, two sons, Charles A. Keller, III of Schenectady and Joshua Keller of Amsterdam, three daughters, Kayla Keller of Amsterdam, Elisha Keller of Amsterdam and Theresa Keller of Broadalbin, and three grandchildren, Milkolaj Bolaszewski, Alina Keller and Pheonix Keller. Graveside Services will be at 10:00AM on Tuesday, August 5, 2008 at Our Lady of Angels Cemetery, Central Avenue, Colonie, NY.
