Obituary of Frank Colabello

Mr. Frank Colabello, age 75 of Gloversville, died Monday evening, August 4, 2008 at his home. He was born November 21, 1932 in Gloversville, the son of the late Pasquale and Melina Vita Colabello. Mr. Colabello was married on June 3, 1956 to Mary C. Almy who survives. Also surviving are two children, Patrick F. Colabello Sharon of Brimfield, Massachusetts and Tina M. Kruger John LaPosta of Saratoga Springs; a brother, Vito Caldarone Josie of Gloversville; three sisters, Norina Colabello, Linda Colabello and Rose Johnson of Gloversville; three grandchildren, Kaitlynd Kruger, Cody Kruger and Mikayla Colabello; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his brothers Emilio Colabello, Philip Caldaroni and Gino Colabello. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial which will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Thursday at Sacred Heart Church, Gloversville, with the Very Rev. Donald Czelusniak officiating. Interment will take place at Mount Carmel Cemetery, Johnstown. Upon Frank´s request there will be no calling hours, and please make memorial contributions in lieu of flowers to Mountain Valley Hospice, 108 Steele Avenue, Gloversville, NY 12078. Arrangements have been entrusted to Walrath & Stewart Funeral Home, Gloversville.
