Obituary of Madeline N. Bennice

Mrs. Madeline N. Bennice, 82 of Gloversville, died Friday at the Fulton County Residential Health Care Facility. Mrs. Bennice was born October 7, 1925 in Gloversville, daughter of the late Vincent and Vincie Condo Perrone. She was a graduate of Gloversville High School and employed as an administrative assistant with Metropolitan Life Insurance Co. in Gloversville. Madeline was an avid golfer and a member of Pine Brook Golf Course. She was a long time member of the Nathan Littauer Hospital Auxiliary. Her accomplishments on the piano were shared with family and friends. She is survived by her husband Anthony Bennice of Gloversville whom she married in 1946. Madeline leaves two children: Patricia Richard Burton of N. Attleboro, MA. and John Bennice of Walnut Creek, CA. She is also survived by her sister Emelia "Dolly" Meyers of Schenectady and two grandchildren: Johanna and Leslie Burton as well as several nieces and nephews. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 1 p.m. on Tuesday at Sacred Heart Church in Gloversville. There will be no calling hours. Burial will be in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Gloversville.
