Obituary of Jason Paul Giglio
Amsterdam
Jason Paul Giglio, 9 months, of Queen Anne Road, passed away unexpectedly Friday, August 8, 2008 at Ellis Hospital in Schenectady.
He was born in Schenectady on October 15, 2007 a son of Jaime Lynn Hill and Christopher S. Giglio of Amsterdam.
Jason was baptized into Christian faith and lived at home with his parents and two brothers. He had sparkling blue eyes and a smile that lit up the room and would melt a heart. Jason was a happy and affectionate child who was loved by all and will be sadly missed.
In addition to his parents, Jason's loving family includes his twin brother, Joshua Stephen Giglio and his big brother, Christopher Ryan Giglio of Amsterdam, his grandparents Karen & Joe Nichols of Amsterdam, Jeanne Meyers of Scotia, Paul and Cheryll Hill of Burnt Hills, Kathy and Stephen Giglio of Amsterdam and Cheryl Nailor of Schenectady, his great-grandparents, Betty and Vince Giglio of Schoharie and Virginia and Paul Hill of Scotia, his aunts and uncles, Stephen and Vincent Giglio of Amsterdam, Anthony and Victoria Nichols of Amsterdam, Stacy-Lynn Hill of Scotia and Paul-James Hill of Burnt Hills, and his first cousin, Alanna Smothers of Scotia. Several other great aunts, great uncles, cousins and close family friends also survive.
Jason was predeceased by his great-grandparents, Arlene and George Quiri, William Meyers and Eleanor Meyers Argersinger.
Funeral Services will be at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, August 13, 2008 at Betz, Rossi & Bellinger Family Funeral Home, 171 Guy Park Ave., Amsterdam with Rev. Dennis Meyer, officiating. Interment will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery, Tribes Hill.
The family will receive relatives and friends on Tuesday evening from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Jason's memory may be made to his family. Please make checks out to Jaime Hill in care of the funeral home.
