Obituary of Thomas P. Eustace

Thomas P. Eustace, 59, of Lindberg Ave Liberty Residence, passed away Friday August 8, 2008 at St. Mary's Hospital in Amsterdam. Born in Havre de Grace, MD on February 17, 1949 a son of Francis Patrick and Helen Elizabeth Krouse Eustace. Mr. Eustace was a resident with Liberty Enterprises in Amsterdam. He enjoyed helping others and loved all of humankind. He worked hard at promoting the recycling program at Liberty. He was an Ambassador of Goodwill in the city of Amsterdam for the past three years was very involved in city happenings. Tom was a member of the Traumatic Brain Injury Support Group and was a communicant of St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church both in Amsterdam. He is survived by one aunt, Mary Eustace Varhol of Virginia. A devoted cousin and guardian Elizabeth "Bettie" Krouse McMullen of Port Orange, Florida. Housemates George, Ron and Jodie of Amsterdam. Two brothers and one sister. Many cousins and his extended family at Liberty also survive. Mr. Eustace was predeceased by his parents Francis P. and Helen E. Krouse Eustace and his cousin and guardian Joseph McMullen who recently passed away on July 16, 2008. A Memorial Service will be held on Monday August 11, 2008 at 1:00P.M. at the Betz, Rossi & Bellinger Family Funeral Home, 171 Guy Park Ave, Amsterdam with Father Anthony and James Gulley of St. Mary's Parish presiding.
