Words cannot express the feelings I have of Jim's passing. Having worked under his leadership for several years at GE H-Bay a relationship was formed that will remain wih me forever. Jim was a GREAT guy and had the respect of the employees he directed on the shop floor.... My Prayers are with the family during this difficult time... Having spent 37 Years with GE and only a handful of years retired dosen't seem fair!!!!

I remember my Dad talking about Jim, when Jim was his foreman back in the late 70's. He told a story of teaching Jim how to "hot wire" his car one night, when Jim had lost his keys to the car. Of course, they used wire from GE and had alligator clips on the end. Jim stopped for coffee or whatever on the way home and opened the hood to unclip the wires to turn the car off. He didn't notice the cop across the street. The cop was there to meet him, when he came out of the diner with his coffee, thinking he had stolen the car. Jim had some explaining to do. Dad always spoke highly of Jim. I'm sure they will have stories to share now, as they meet again. We lost Dad at age 88, June 2007. With deepest sympathy, The Young Family

You have my heart felt sympathy,at the passing of Jimmy. He was a great
guy. We had our disagreements, but Jim was always willing to make amends. We talked a lot about hunting and fishing only at our free time at GE. As long as we accept life on lives terms I think it is easier for us. May your higher power be with you at this time.
