Obituary of Patti Ann MacNaughton

Patti Ann (Hotaling) MacNaughton, devoted wife, mother and grandmother, age 61, passed away February 11, 2017 at her home in Fonda with her loving family by her side. Patti was born on October 2, 1955 in Amsterdam, NY. She graduated from Fonda-Fultonville Central School and married her husband, Gregg, of 41 years, on May 3, 1975. She worked at General Telephone Co. and later as a teacher's assistant at FFCS for 22 years, retiring in 2010. Patti enjoyed traveling, especially going to Atlantic City casinos and spending winters in Florida with her husband. She had five grandsons whom she adored. They kept her busy and she lovingly called them her basketball team. Patti is survived by her beloved husband Gregg MacNaughton; one son, Kyle (Katie) MacNaughton of Saratoga Springs, NY; one daughter, Megan (Michael) LeClair of Glenville, NY; five grandsons: Aiden, Owen and Connor MacNaughton, and Brady and Noah LeClair; sister-in-law Bonnie (Byron) Weigandt; sister-in-law Lou Ann Carter; and a cousin, Larry (Judy) Dufel. The family wishes to express their deepest appreciation to Dr. George Weis and his wife Eileen for all their help at a difficult time. Also, to our close friends for their help, thoughts and prayers, and to NYOH of Amsterdam and Mountain Valley Hospice of Gloversville. We will always be grateful. In keeping with Patti's wishes, there will be no calling hours. A private memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Betz, Rossi & Bellinger Family Funeral Home, 171 Guy Park Ave, Amsterdam, NY 12010.
