So very sorry for your loss. No matter how much you know it's going to happen, it's always a deep sadness you cannot prepare for. He's free of this terrible disease now and enjoying my father in laws corny jokes I'm sure. Love, Steve and Pat from Caregivers, what would we do without it?

Deb,
I am so sorry for you, for Norm, and the rest of your family that will miss him. I don't know if you have read of my struggles on behalf of Joseph, or should I say his struggles. I am from the hdcaregivers list. I just wanted to send you a hug and let you know that I care. Hopefully we get to see our loved ones again someday. I am still lost in my own grief for Joe.

Deb, John and family. I am so sorry for your loss even though we all knew it was inevitable. There is no way it can ever be easy for anyone going through this terrible nightmare. You can find some solice in the fact that now he is at peace. Deb, you were an angel for him and you should be very proud of yourself for taking such wonderful care of Norm all these years and always putting his needs ahead of yours. Once you get past the grieving and paperwork, I know you will enjoy life's pleasures and you certainly deserve it. I do know what you are going through, and trust me, time will help!

Your family is in my prayers in this time of heartbreak. It has been alot of years since I had seen Norm but he was an important part of my childhood. Cora and Eddie had kept me up to date on NY news. I am sorry that I hadn't gotten to see you both and your family when I was back there. A couple of years ago I had visited with your mom at Norma Bordens and we had a nice visit. I am truly sorry for your loss. Kathy Owens Harrod..

Dear Deb and Family,
It was an honor to have met Norm and have him touch both our live's. He was a man of great courage and strength and inspired us both. Taking care of Norm was a part of my life I'll never forget and will always cherish the great memories he gave me. His Nascar stories, playing Pitch and hearing the adventure's in his life always brought a smile to my face. His journey is over, he's in a better place and as Norm would say "For Sure"! Our thought's and prayer's are with you all alway's. Love Jean & Paul
