I have wonderful memories of growing up on Spring Street and knowing Mr. and Mrs Jennings. I have great memories of singing in the choir with them and your dad and me laughing at something and your mom giving us a look as if to say behave. Take joy in the wonderful memories of your folks. I can't wait to see them in heaven. I often wonder if there is a street of gold in heaven named Spring Street.

Dear Bill, Candy and Family-
Sorry we did not make it to the Calling Hours tonight and I am at work tomorrow AM so can't come to the service either. I just wanted to pass along our condolences. Each loved one we loose that knew the Lord makes our sight of heaven a little clearer and our longing of heaven a little stronger. Our thoughts are with your family as you adjust to loosing Mom and grandmother. I have vivid memories of Elsie driving the Pine Street / Ridge Road Bus Route which I rode many times when staying with my Grandparents on Pine Street as well as later on when she had the Route 29 / Black Street Route.

Sprague and Elsie were as much a part of the Broadalbin landscape as my mom and dad were. I rememeber being a kid and running to the mail when Sprague would drive up to see if my order had come. Elsie always had a kind word to say spoke highly of my family - I really miss the "old" Broadalbin where most everyone was nice, friendly and the town really was a community who cared. With the loss of Elsie yet another part of the "old" Broadalbin is gone.

To Elsie's Family,
I have many fond memories of Elsie. She was very active in the church and community. I always enjoyed talking with her, whether it was at church, at her house, or even in the nursing home when I saw her.
