In Jan. of 1996 I lost my son Victor. As you can imagine, the hardest part of my life, but besides my family, the one person who was there for me, even in the middle of the night, was Rev. Jones...He will be sadly missed, but we were very lucky to have had him for the time we did...my thoughts go out to his wife and all his family. It is hard in this day and age sometimes to find someone who cared as much as he did, and I am lucky to have had him by my side in the hardest time of my life.
Thank you.

To Rev.Jones Family:
I am so sad to hear of his passing!
He will always be the 1 person I thought had the biggest heart and compassion for people. He was there for my family during a very sad time when our grandson died in 1996, he performed the Baptisium in the hospital just hrs. before he died and stayed up "ALL" night with us, he was a grampa first, then Reverend next, and then a go- between for us and the Dr's when the Dr's tried to lock us out! Rev.Jones will "always be loved and now missed from our family!" RIP my friend, and God Bless his Family!
Linda Doug and Mary Fordham and all our family.

Wayne was a kind and welcoming colleague to me when I arrived at Saint Mary's in 1994. I enjoyed working with him over the years. It was only this afternoon as I was about to do a burial that Michael Donahue Kingston's told me of his death. I am so sorry. Please know we will remember him and all of you at Saint Mary's this Sunday in our prayers. May he rest in peace and rise in glory.

Mrs Jones and family; You don't know myself or my wife and daughters. We met Rev. Jones back on Oct.25,2005. My grandmother Mcguire had past and Rev. Jones was going to officeate. My grandmother was at Hollenbecks on 2nd Ave. in G'ville. What a bad trip. Anyway, Rev. Jones was very caring, helpful, and understanding with what we had to deal with, along with the death in our family. My daughters took the passing of their great grandmother hard. Rev. Jones was there. My daughters will never forget this great man. His kindness, his soft spoken words just to them was a big help. The day of the funeral would not have come out as good as it did if it wasn't for Rev. Jones. So in closing, My family sends their condolences to your family. Anyone who met Rev. Jones won't forget him.

I was saddened to hear of the loss of Rev. Jones. He was such a wonderful man, He always seen the good in a person. I first meet him with the loss of my mother in law. He lead a wonderful service. Then I was able to meet him again with the construction of the new church. As I got to know him we quickly grew a fun relationship. I will always remember him saying "payback sweetie". He will be missed by all but he will still be "looking" over the project as it pushes foward. God Bless.
