I worked with Bill on the Police Department for several years. He was fun to be around, and I always got a kick out of hearing about his Navy days during the war. His tales were very interesting. My wife and I always enjoyed being in company with Bill and June as they made a splendid couple.

Dear Woodley Children:
My father Giro "Jerry" and your father Bill were very good friends. For a while, my father owned Mitch & Jerry's gas station on the corner of E. Fulton and Allen Sts. I also knew your father well. I liked and admired him very much and thought he was a quiet, but powerful man who possessed great insight. I am sorry for your lose and the community should be also.....
Very kind regards,
Arthur Michael Ambrosino
