Eugene and Catherine Groshans were my parents and I am the youngest child Joe. So I did not know Violet as well as my sister Kathleen or brother Gene, but I do remember her from my parents and their fond conversations of the Hulbert family. I do have a few memories of Gary Sr. at my Uncle Oliver Scottâ??s farm across the fields from the Hulbertâ??s and horse back riding with my cousin Elizabeth Bonnie Scott and me and others, about 1956-58.
Kathleen has spoken fondly of Randy and their conversations as well as getting reacquainted with Violet and sharing their many childhood memories.

To The Family,
I Worked with Vi in the Grocery stores and She was a big part of my life in 4-H. I worked with Kenny at the office of the aging, and most recently, I would see her at the Infirmiry, since my Mom is there. I always stopped and spoke to her.
She lived a long and Full life.
My heart is with you at your time of loss. But know that Vi touched the lives of many.

I have the privilege of sharing the Gospel the third Sunday of every month at the Fulton Co Res Healthcare Facility for almost two years. Your Mom always sat up front during Service. She was a faithful, sweet woman. I prayed at your Mother's bedside Sunday afternoon with my Wife and Mrs. Dorothy Putman. Please accept my condolences.

Wishing all the family our condolences.
We are grateful Randy and Sharon that you took the time to bring Violet to Nebraska a few years ago, to allow she and my Mom to visit and refresh their memories of their shared childhood, and for us to meet her for the first time. What a delightful person she was.
Mom frequently talks of Violet and the history they shared as children and adults in this family. She has many wonderful fond memories of her. She will be missed.

How saddened I was to read of dear Violet's passing. Although I retired from the FCRHCF in May, I always looked forward to seeing that sweet lady with the sweet smile on the corner of A station. Heaven surely has a new Angel!

To Violet's Family, Our Mom was your Mothers roomate "Florence Schreivogl"in Room 309. Everytime we went to see our "mom" I always made a point to say hi to "Violet"..whether it be out by her door or up the hall.She always said, "hi" and smiled at us. Mom was in some "school" classes with her. It was a comfort to me to know she was with someone she knew. Now the Lord has another loved one at his table~.
