Obituary of Wanda Erma Moyer

Mrs. Wanda Erma Moyer, age 83, died Sunday, October 26, 2008 at Albany Medical Center in Albany. She was born June 16, 1925 in Gloversville, the daughter of the late Fred and Lana Moyer. She had lived in Gloversville all of her life. Mrs. Moyer loved the Gloversville Wesleyan Church where she was a member. Wanda also loved her camp in Caroga Lake, as well as the outdoors. Wanda was close to her family as well as her dog and cats. She will be missed by all those who knew her. Wanda is survived by eight children: Karen Bowman of Gloversville, Patricia Ann Lallo of Gloversville, Daniel W. Kiskis of Ballston Spa, Stephen Kiskis of Gloversville, Connie Vickery Coleman of Saratoga Springs, William Frederick Jr. of Gloversville, Wanda Jean Horning and her fiancé Jim of Canajoharie, and Ginny Lynn Ahart of Mexico, NY. Additional survivors include twenty-four grandchildren, several great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; two husbands, Albinias Kiskis and William Morris Frederick, Sr.; a daughter Cheryl Ann; three brothers Lester, Fred and her twin brother William and two sisters, Phyllis and Constance. Wanda was also predeceased by her longtime companion, Mathias Ty Donnelly. The family will receive relatives and friends from 11 to 12 p.m. Wednesday at Walrath & Stewart Funeral Home, 51 Fremont St; Gloversville, where a funeral service will follow at 12:00 p.m. with Rev. Larry Johnson officiating. Interment will take place at Prospect Hill Cemetery, Gloversville.
