Obituary of Edwin C. Nulty

Mr. Edwin C. Nulty, age 93, of Hagaman died Sunday, October 26, 2008 after a short illness. Mr. Nulty was born on November 10, 1914 in Gloversville, the son of the late Clarence Nulty and Louise Bonacker. He was preceded in death by his wife of 55 years Frances Ralbovsky in 2002. Edwin served in the Navy during WWII. Following his time in the service, he was employed by Acme, and had his own private business. Mr. Nulty then worked for Price Chopper Supermarkets as the meat manager until his retirement in 1979. Edwin is survived by one son, Kurt Nulty Sr. Nancy of Gloversville; eight grandchildren, Kurt Nulty Jr. Jacqueline of Hagaman, Kathy Bagwell Bob of Hagaman, Megan Briggs of Arizona, Daniele Matice Wayne of Gloversville, Kelly Semione Joe of Gloversville, Bonnie Silk Matt of Arizona, Brian Briggs Yonsuk of Texas and Wayne Briggs of Syracuse. Additional survivors include nine great- grandchildren: Kory Nulty, Caleb, Cody and Chase Bagwell, Alex and Madison Matice, Chelsea and Dillon Silk and Gina Briggs and one nephew, Rudy Roberts of Virginia. There will be no calling hours. A graveside service will be conducted on Friday, October 31, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. in FernDale Cemetery, Johnstown with Rev. John Joslyn officiating. Cremation will take place at Parkview Crematorium in Schenectady. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Kobuskie-Konik Funeral Home, 51 Fremont Street, Gloversville. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Mountain Valley Hospice, 108 Steele Avenue, Gloversville, NY 12078.
