Obituary of Alison P. Van Eps
Alison P. Van Eps died suddenly from a heart attack on Wednesday, February 15, 2017 at her home in Gloversville.
She was born in Schenectady, the daughter of Lawrence and Lois Gleason Celia. She was co-owner and operator of A One Shot Deal for many years and worked as a switchboard operator for Lexington Center at the time of her passing.
Alison was a member of the Gloversville congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses.
She is survived by her husband, Dale K. Van Eps of Gloversville, whom she married July 4, 1998; a daughter, Crystal L. Bedard and her husband Brian of Schenectady; a sister, Theodora Lager of Coxsackie; a grandson, Parker Bedard of Schenectady; an uncle, Donald Gleason of Gloversville; as well as several cousins, nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will take place at 2:00pm Saturday, February 25 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 126 S. Kingsboro Ave; Gloversville.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Walrath & Stewart Funeral Home, Gloversville.
