Obituary of Wayne E. Paige

Wayne E. Paige, 66, passed away Tuesday, November 11, 2008. He was born on January 13, 1942 in Schenectady, the son of the late James Van and Marguerite Alice Nitschke Paige. Wayne worked as a sheet metal fabricator and welder for Rand Manufacturing in Schenectady, NY. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved to hunt, fish and camp. He loved the Sacandaga area and had wonderful times with his family on the lake. Wayne loved anything that was adventurous, especially trail biking with his brother, Ron. He also loved to read and study geography. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him. Mr. Paige is survived by two daughters: Cynthia Marie Perez Paul of Galway, NY and Audrey Anne Sarto Todd of Greenwich, NY; a brother, Ronald Paige of Gloversville; four grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Family and friends are invited and may call Saturday, November 15 from 9 to 11 am at the Walrath & Stewart Funeral Home, 51 Fremont Street, Gloversville. Interment will take place at Prospect Hill Cemetery in Gloversville at a later date.
