Obituary of Esther M. Frasier

Esther M. "Peg" Reynolds Frasier, age 87, of the Village of Northville, passed away Thursday, November 13, 2008, at St. Mary's Hospital in Amsterdam. She was born October 18, 1921 in the Town of Northampton, NY, the daughter of Joseph and Rose Harrington Reynolds. Peg was a homemaker. She was a ticket chairman for Bat's Bay Productions of Northville and was a member of the Nathan Littauer Hospital Auxiliary. She enjoyed watching Yankee's baseball and scrapbooking. Spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren was most important to her. She married Gilbert Frasier on October 20, 1940. He predeceased her on May 12, 1983. Survivors include her daughter, Barbara Weaver; her son, Gary Frasier and his Fiancée Patty; a sister, Elizabeth "Betty" Paul Kelly; six Grandchildren: Gary Frasier II, Kenny Simpson, John Weaver, Brent Weaver, Jason Frasier and Heather Poole; Great-Grandchildren: Molly, Grady, Claire, Jillian, Miles, Macy, Drew, Quinn, Darren and Lacy and a special friend, Barbara Sperry. In addition to her parents and husband, Peg was preceded in death by a daughter, Cheryl Poole, a sister, Charlotte Stoddard and a brother, Delbert Reynolds. Services will be Tuesday, November 18 at 11:00 AM at Walrath & Stewart Funeral Home 51 Fremont Street Gloversville with the Rev. Dr. R.W. Williams officiating. Interment will take place at Prospect Hill Cemetery, Northville. Calling hours will be Monday, November 17 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Walrath & Stewart Funeral Home, 51 Fremont Street, Gloversville, NY.
