Obituary of Allan D. Cash

Allan D. Cash, 62, passed away Sunday, November 16, 2008 at Little Falls Hospital. He was born December 23, 1945 in Gloversville, the son of the late Jesse A. and Ida Rubin Cash, who survives. At the age of two, he was stricken with a serious illness which rendered him handicapped. Allan was one of the first four children at the Lexington Center, of which his mother, Ida, was a founding member. He enjoyed traveling and current events and will be sadly missed by all who knew him. In addition to his mother, Ida Cash of Gloversville, survivors include a brother, Tobin Cash of Gloversville; an aunt, Joan Rubin of Boston, MA and several cousins. Friends and family are invited to attend a graveside service at K'nesseth Israel Cemetery in Gloversville on Wednesday, November 19 at 2 p.m. with Rabbi Martin Gordon officiating. Donations may be made in Allan's memory to the Lexington Center, 127 East State Street, Gloversville 12078. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Walrath & Stewart Funeral Home, 51 Fremont St. Gloversville.
