Obituary of Harry W. Teets

Harry W. Teets, 72, of Lansing Street, Hagaman, passed away unexpectedly, Monday, November 24, 2008 at his home. He was born in Amsterdam October 19, 1936, a son of the late Harry J. and Pearl Antis Teets. Harry was a lifelong resident of the area and was of Christian faith. He worked for Kem's Cleaners in Amsterdam and Scotia for over 30 years. He was a quiet man who enjoyed working around his house and spending time with his extended family and friends. In addition to his parents, Harry was predeceased by a sister, Arlene Cheritano. Although his immediate family has predeceased him, Harry had a loving extended family which includes his companion of over 20 years, Patricia Walsh of Amsterdam, her children, Ralph Walsh of Schenectady, Lisa Gallo of Rotterdam and Deborah Delgado of Amsterdam, grandchildren, Tashia, Nicole, Heather, Trisha, Tiffany, Timmy, Angela, Carly and Adam, and great-grandchildren, Tatiana, Brianna, Anayiah, Jermaine and Jayden. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 12:00 Noon, Friday, November 28, 2008 at St. Stanislaus Roman Catholic Church, Reid St., Amsterdam with Fr. David Mickiewicz as celebrant. Interment will follow in the parish cemetery. The family will receive relatives and friends, prior to mass, from 10:00 to 11:30 Friday morning at Betz, Rossi & Bellinger Family Funeral Home, 171 Guy Park Avenue, Amsterdam.
