Obituary of Clara A. Metallo

Mrs. Clara A. Metallo, 69, of Market Street, Amsterdam, died Monday, December 1, 2008 at Albany Medical Center following a brief illness. Born on September 28, 1939 in Amsterdam she was the daughter of the late Leon and Regina Sokalski Lisicki. A lifelong city resident, Clara was of the Roman Catholic faith and enjoyed her home and crossword puzzles and she loved her cat. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her. Her loving family includes her sisters, Barbara Ford of Gloversville, Marguerite Mason of Mayfield and Elizabeth Dylong of Amsterdam; one daughter, Theresa of Schenectady; several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by a sister, Mary Ann Carey and a brother, Leon J. Lisicki Jr. Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, December 3rd, 2008 Today at 11 o'clock at Betz, Rossi & Bellinger Family Funeral Home, 171 Guy Park Avenue, Amsterdam, with the Rev. Pascal Iannotti officiating. Interment will take place in St. Stanislaus' Cemetery. There are no calling hours.
