Obituary of Agnes M. Donnelly

Agnes (Iannotti) Donnelly, 66, of Amsterdam, passed away Friday February 24, 2017 at St. Mary's Hospital in Amsterdam, following a long battle with cancer. She was born October 19, 1950 in Amsterdam, the daughter of Emily and Carl Iannotti. She attended Amsterdam public schools, and was a graduate of the former Wilbur H. Lynch High School Class of 1968. Agnes was employed at the Amsterdam Glove Co., Electrometrics in Amsterdam and last at GE in Schenectady. She was of the Roman Catholic Faith. Agnes is predeceased by her father Carl, who died August 16, 1988. She is survived by her loving Mother Emily Iannotti of Amsterdam, her brother Carl Iannotti of Oneonta, NY. Her Aunt Mary Verderese, Uncle Father Pascal "Pat" Iannotti, and Uncle Professor Gerald Iannotti all of Amsterdam. Her partner of over 20 years Al Coviello of Amsterdam and many cousins. She loved camping, coin and stamp collecting and her many many pets. She is also survived by her little dog Heidi. Special thanks are given to Dr. Goslin, Dr. Benoit and Dr. Marsh for their devoted care, and to the wonderful staff at NYOH in Amsterdam. The family will receive relatives and friends from 12:00PM to 1:00PM on Tuesday February 28, 2017 at the Betz, Rossi & Bellinger Family Funeral Home, 171 Guy Park Ave, Amsterdam followed by a graveside service in Fairview Cemetery, Steadwell Ave, Amsterdam at 1:30PM with Agnes' Uncle Father Pascal "Pat" Iannotti presiding. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Montgomery County SPCA, PO Box 484, Amsterdam, NY 12010 or to the NYOH Amsterdam Cancer Center, 1700 Riverfront Center, Amsterdam, NY 12010.
