Obituary of Scott A. Iannotti

Scott A. Iannotti, age 55, died Saturday, February 25, 2017 at his home in Johnstown, following a long illness. He was born September 1, 1961 in Gloversville, the son of Louis and Harriet Iannotti. He was later employed by Townsend Leather and was a member of the First Baptist Church, both in Johnstown. Scott loved music, playing horseshoes with his friends and coaching youth sport events. He is survived by a daughter, Samantha Iannotti of Johnstown; his mother, Harriet Acquilla of Johnstown; three siblings, Mary Hoyt (Darrell) of Johnstown, Michael Iannotti of Johnstown and Robin Curtin of North Carolina and several nieces and nephews. Scott was predeceased by his father, as well as his brothers Louis "Freddy" Iannotti and Roger Iannotti. The family will receive relatives and friends from 2 to 5:00PM Sunday, March 5th at Walrath & Stewart Funeral Home, 51 Fremont St, Gloversville. A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00AM Monday at the First Baptist Church, 325 S. Comrie Ave; Johnstown, with Pastor Robert Walter officiating. Interment will take place in the spring at Mount Carmel Cemetery, Johnstown
