Obituary of Bruce J. Felde

Bruce J. Felde, 79, of Hagaman, NY has gone to his eternal rest, Tuesday, February 20, 2018. He was born on July 7, 1938 to the late John and Ruth (Wubker) Felde. Bruce graduated from Union High School, Grand Rapids, Michigan, then served in the United States Navy from 1955 to 1961. Since then he became quite a successful business man throughout the years. Bruce was a very devoted parishioner of St. Stephen's Catholic Church, Hagaman. Bruce is survived by his wife, Paula J. Felde; his children Annette (Steve) Shattuck, Andrew (Janice Gork) Felde, William Felde, and Brian Felde; his step daughters Rebecca (Cari) Catucci, Sharon (Kirk) Graser; grandchildren Kaylee Shattuck, Kyle Shattuck, Zachary (Brianna) Moore, Shelby Moore, Kiara Tomlinson, Jeffrey Opalka, Jordan (Jessica Anderson) Graser; great grandchildren Tori Olpalka & Parker Litts; sister-in-laws Noreen Orsini, Karen (Doug Thorpe) Newkirk, Diane Kutnicki, Mary Ellen (David Zimmerman) Persons, Teresa Gillooley, and Sandi (David Wojeski)Picciocca; brother-in-law Alan (Vanessa) Persons. Bruce is also survived by his fur baby Gigi, along with several nieces, and nephews. Relatives and Friends are invited to call at St. Stephen's Catholic Church, 51 N. Pawling St., Hagaman, NY 12086 on Saturday February 24, 2018 from 10am to 12 noon, where then a Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 12 noon with Fr. O. Robert DeMartinis will be the Celebrant. Bruce was the best husband, and you could not ask for a better hard-working father, and taken too soon. You are loved and missed by all who were lucky enough to meet you. He touched so many lives through his faith. During his lifetime Bruce loved fishing, hunting, and sporting clays. In lieu of flowers Contributions in his memory may be made to St. Stephen's Catholic Church, 51 N. Pawling St., Hagaman, NY 12086 or to the American Cancer Society, 1 Penny Lane, Latham, NY 12110.
