Obituary of Michelle F. Wagenheim
Mrs. Michelle F. Wagenheim, 61 years old of Meadowlark Drive, died Monday at Samaritan Hospital in Troy. Mrs. Wagenheim was born August 6, 1947 in Utica, the daughter of Nathan and Reva Perlman. She graduated from Syracuse University with a Bachelers degree in Nursury Education. Michelle married Charles A. Wagenheim on June 24, 1979, moved to Latham where she resided for the next 10 years before moving to Cohoes where she had since resided. She was a member of Congregation Sons of Israel Synagogue in Amsterdam and a past member of Hadassah. Michelle enjoyed reading, watching television and her monthly outing with her girl friends. She was known for the enthusiasm she showed in going out of her way to help others. Michelle was proud of her artistic talents and her work had been shown in many local art shows.
Survivors in addition to her husband Charles, are her aunt and uncle; Chuck and Belle Nathan of Tampa, Florida, and her cousins; Ira Nathan of Utica, NY and Evie Feinstein of Hasting-on Hudson, NY.
Funeral services will be held 11:00am today, December 31, 2008, at Temple of Israel Cemetery at Cranesville, NY with The Rabbi Martin Gordon officiating. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Betz, Rossi & Bellinger Family Funeral Home in Amsterdam. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made: American Mental Health Association or Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
