In Memory of our Golden Rose
Reach out of the darkness dear sister,
for you will always be our friend.
Your life was too short,
our memories of you will never end.
You were full of humor and glee,
made so many of us laugh and smile.
We promise to remember you,
dear Rose, for quite a while.
Many good times were had on the farm.
As we reunite for Woodstock,
coming together to sing and dance,
when we play our drums, your spirit will rock.
You kept us informed of others who've passed.
Your tributes to Janis & Jimi, John and Jim,
were always so special,
You made them genuine.
Now it's our turn
to keep your memory bright.
As we see your face
comin into the light.
You showed in your heart
you were very caring.
Not having you around will be very hard,
But the spirit of you, we will always be sharing.
Your soul now rests in a better place.
May our family gatherings never cease.
We will always know this golden Rose,
Your life stood for love and peace.
luv & miss you,
TommyPurpleHaze

This is the end, beautiful friend
This is the end, my only friend, the end
Of our elaborate plans, the end
Of everything that stands, the end
No safety or surprise, the end
I'll never look into your eyes again...............
Good bye Rose, go gently into the Earth Mother's arms.

All my heartfelt condolences to Rosanne's family
Rosanne and I were best friend's from the fourth grade all through high school---we lost touch but had talked on the phone, she had also written to me and sent pics.
I wish now that I would have made an effort to contact her, I had thought about stopping to see her but postponed it because I had other things to do.
This should teach me a valuable lesson.
I will forever think of all the happy times. Rosanne was a good and caring person.
May God bless her!
Love you sweet Rosanne,
Marion Hohensheldt

Rose, you quietly slipped away from the party all too soon. But that was often your way. You were a private soul that never held back the good stuff... your help, your love, your laugh, your smile, your heart. To hear your voice on the other end of the line was always a celebration. To see your van coming over the hill meant the weekend could truly begin. I know this isn't goodbye but that doesn't make the distance any easier. I love you, sister!

Rose you are a dear friend and sister, and you will truly be missed. You were one of the first in our group of family I had the pleasure to meet at the farm. I still remember that first of oh so many warm hug and bright smile from you. You were always one to share whatever you had with someone in need. I await the day that I see you again. I love you Rose.

My thoughts and prayers are with you Rose. May you finally find your Peace on your long journey.
God's given us years of happiness here
Now we must part
And as the angels come and call for you
The pains of grief tug at my heart
Oh the days will be empty
The nights so long without you my love
And when god calls for you I'm left alone
But we will meet in heaven above
Fond memories I'll keep of happy ways
That on earth we trod
And when I come we will walk hand in hand
As one in heaven in the family of god
Oh my darling
My darling
My heart breaks as you take
your long journey

I met Roseanne when making deliveries to her from Joyce and Perry. It made a wonderful opportunity to get to know her and becoome friends almost instantly. She had a wonderful charm about her and her love of animals was certainly transparent. My heart goes out to her family and her many, many friends but may we all be blessed by knowing her.

We met Rose through a website we ran about nine years ago, and quickly went from being internet friends to "real" friends.
Over these past years we've had the pleasure of her company many times, and shared some of the best laughs ever. Rose added touches of fun, mischief, and excitement in all of our encounters, whether face-to-face or on some message board.
More important was her selfless attitude, always putting the helping of others and animals ahead of her own convenience.
We miss you, Rose.

Isn't life strange
A world we can't rearrange
With no thought or care
Maker of despair
Each breath that we breathe
With love we must weave
To make us as one again
We will be in your heart
To be with ones you love
Wish we could be in your eyes
Looking back, there you are and here we are!

Rose holds a special place in my heart - I will treasure her friendship always. I will always remember her contagious smile, her kind heart and the fun times we shared. I felt a special connection with her because of our mutual love for Jim Morrison - she was like a teacher to me with all she knew about him and all the memorabilia she had. She is an amazing woman and I knew she had many stories to tell and memories to share, I'm just sad I didn't know her long enough to hear all of them. I know Rose is in a beautiful place with her mother and she will be loved by myself and all of her Vernville family forever. I feel blessed to have known you Rose. All my love, sister. Candice xoxoxo

Rose was one of the most beautiful, loving, caring, kindest women that I ever had the honor of being with. I remember that she would frequently run herself down caring for sick elderly people, many of which would pass away leaving her sad from the loss. Yet she continued to help these less fortunate people at her own emotional expense. Few are able or willing to continue functioning in this role like she had. Rose was one of God's soldiers doing his work. Her selflessness puts her up there at saint status. I will always love you Rose and will miss you. Rest in peace.
