Obituary of Ruth E. Bryant

Ruth E. Bryant, 92, formerly of Romeyn Avenue, passed away peacefully early Sunday at the Edward L. Wilkinson Residential Health Care Facility. Born in New Britain, Conn. on September 19, 1916 to William and Anna Suess Radune. She was a 1934 graduate of New Britain High School and later attended Concordia Teacher's College in Nebraska. An avid bridge player, she also enjoyed bowling, tennis and golf, even in her later years. In addition to her parents, Ruth was predeceased by her husband, J. Raymond Bryant in February, 1972, her brother, Robert Radune and sisters Ella Peterson and Jane Steed. She is survived by her daughter Bonnie Paul Wollman Cooke of Amsterdam; her son, Bruce Victoria Cooke of Warren, Vt., granddaughter Bridget James Grace of Seoul, South Korea; grandson Christopher Cooke of Warren, Vt.; great grandson Caleb Grace of Seoul , South Korea; brother, William Pricilla Radune of Ohiio; sister in law Sandy Radune of Ohio; brother in law Harold Steed of Connecticut; her special cousin Ethel Gray of Florida; a niece and nephews. Services are at the convenience of the family. Her grand son in law, Deacon James Grace will officiate . Interment is in the Fairview Cemetery, West Hartford, Conn. There are no calling hours and in lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Activities Department at the Wilkinson RHC Facility, 4988 State Hwy 30, Amsterdam, NY 12010. Her arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Betz, Rossi & Bellinger Family Funeral Home, 171 Guy Park Avenue, Amsterdam, NY.
