Obituary of Grace L. Donato

Grace L. Donato, 79, formerly of Wheelock Street, Canajoharie passed away peacefully on Monday, January 05, 2009 at St. Mary's Hospital in Amsterdam. Born on May 17, 1929 in Plainfield, New Jersey she was the daughter of the late John and Rose Elizabeth Dusette Donato. An area resident for many years, she was a 1947 graduate of Canajoharie High School. Grace was employed for over 42 years for Beech- Nut where she was a box maker, retiring in 1991. She traveled extensively, enjoyed gardening and animals and loved her family. She was preceded in death by her two brothers, John and Peter Donato. Her loving family includes her sister, Mary Anthony of Palatine Bridge; several nieces, nephews and great nieces and great nephews. A Service of Remembrance will take place on Friday, January 9, 2009 at 1 o'clock at the Lenz & Betz Funeral Home, 69 Otsego Street, Canajoharie with the Rev. Dr. R.W. Williams presiding.
