Obituary of Ellyn L. Richiazzi

Ellyn L. Richiazzi, 76, of Division Street, passed away Wednesday, January 14, 2009 at St. Mary's Hospital in Amsterdam. She was born in Wilton, NY October 22, 1932 a daughter of the late Harry and Loise Ellithorpe Martin. Ellyn grew up in the Wilton area, locating to Amsterdam in 1950. She was a member of the Town of Florida PTA, the VFW Post#55 Auxiliary, the American Legion Post#701, and the United Methodist Church in Amsterdam. She enjoyed doing hand crafts, playing the organ, playing pinochle and word games. Her loving family includes her daughter, Debra Ann David Belfance of Amsterdam, her sons, Edward Linda Keeler, III of Johnstown, Mark Kathleen Keeler of Amsterdam and Brian Laura Keeler of Schenectady, her grandchildren, Tracy Gregory Greenwald, Trisha Corey Ferenz, Lindsey Alex Nieuwkerk, David Leslie Belfance, Jr., Lukas Keeler, Adam Keeler, Michael Keeler, Amanda Stevens, Daniel Stevens, and Joseph Stevens, and her sister, Gene Marie Mike Kern of East Greenbush. Several great-grandchildren also survive. In addition to her parents, Ellyn was predeceased by her son, Craig Keeler in 1987, and two grandchildren, David James Belfance in 1980 and Katie Marie Belfance in 2004. Funeral Services will be at 2:00PM on Sunday, January 18, 2009 at Betz, Rossi & Bellinger Family Funeral Home, 171 Guy Park Ave., Amsterdam. The family will receive relatives and friends prior to services on Sunday from 1:00 to 2:00PM.
