Obituary of Viola Tascillo

Viola Tascillo, 87,of Gloversville, passed away on Monday, February 27, 2017 at her home. She was born on July 7, 1929, a daughter of the late Andrew and Angeline Palumbo Tascillo. Viola was a graduate of Gloversville High School, class of 1947. She was employed as a secretary for the Morrell Vrooman Engineering Firm for over 30 years;she then went on to work for Wood-Wood & Holtzworth until her retirement. Viola is survived by one brother, Anthony Tascillo and several nieces and nephews. Viola was predeceased by her sisters, Rose Piazza, Elizabeth Malagisi, Lucy Ferrara and Mary Sirtoli; her brother, Salvatore Tascillo. Viola will be dearly missed by family and friends. Viola was a member of the Church of the Holy Spirit. She enjoyed gardening, reading, cooking and sewing. Funeral services are private and at the convienence of the family.
