Obituary of Larry R. Bradbury
Larry R. "Brad" Bradbury, 59, of Johnstown passed away on Wednesday January 14, 2009.
Larry was born on February 23, 1949, the son of Cyril and Hazel Cole Bradbury. He was educated in the Gloversville Enlarged School District.
On August 7, 1970 Larry married Mary Ann Crispino. They shared 38 wonderful years together.
Larry served in the United States Army from 1968 - 1970, and was stationed in Germany.
Larry enjoyed many years assisting at Naif's in Gloversville. Larry felt as if everyone there was his second family. Larry also spent time working at Smitty's in Johnstown. For the most part, Larry was self employed as a landscaper.
Larry had a love for animals and jigsaw puzzles. Larry had a dream of one day being on the Jerry Springer show. Larry also loved his trips to Turning Stone Casino. Most of all Larry loved his family. He will be missed by all who knew him.
In addition to his wife Mary Ann Bradbury and his mother Hazel Bradbury, Larry is survived by two daughters; Tonya Lee Bradbury of Gloversville and Terra Lee Meher and her husband Jerry of Johnstown; two grandsons Jeremy Meher Jr. and Hunter Meher; one sister Linda Bradbury-Danner and her husband Reverend John H. Danner of Westport, CT.
Additional survivors include: two brothers in law, Charles Paris Jr. Jane of Gloversville and Angelo Crispino Pam of Clifton Park; two sisters in law Ann Marie Hammond Tom of Fonda and Barbara Sullivan of Malone, NY. Several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive.
Larry was preceded in death by his father Cyril Bradbury and a daughter Darcy Lee Bradbury.
Services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Cremation will take place at Parkview Crematorium, Schenectady. Arrangements have been entrusted to Walrath & Stewart Funeral Home; 51 Fremont Street; Gloversville.
