Obituary of Linda Sue LaMori
Linda Sue LaMori, 66 Years old of Elizabeth Street passed away into loving arms of the Lord,
Saturday January 17, 2009, at St. Mary's Hospital, with her family at her side. She was born March 27, 1942 in Garlin, Kentycky, the daughter of Clarence W. and Mary L. Thompson Harvev and was a graduate of Valley High School at Valley Station, Kentucky. Linda served with the U. S. Army from 1960-1962, with the U.S. Womans Army Air Corp. stationed at Fort Deveus, Massachusetts. She was also a graduate of McCann Tech. School in N. Adams, MA with a degree in Practical Nursing.
Linda also attended Fisher Jr. College, Berkshire Community College and Fulton-Montgomery College. She served as a volunteer nurse at D.I.F. Orphanage in Yucatan Peninsula, Mexico.
Linda is survived by her son David D. Hamill of Colorado, her daughters Lisa F. Guadagno of Amsterdam and Susan L LaMori of Pittsfield, MA.; her brother William J. Karen Harvey, Sr. of Louisville, KY; her grandchildren Kristen Rob Stevens of Pittsfield, MA, Chad J. and Haley E. Guadagno both of Amsterdam and Joelle M. LaMori of Pittsfield, MA; her great grandchildren Ashlyn L. Lemiska, David J. Hamill, Danial I. C. Hamill and Tyler R. Stevens all of Pittsfield, MA.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 am Friday at Betz, Rossi & Bellinger Family Funeral Home, 171 Guy Park Avenue, Amsterdam. The family will receive relatives and friends from 5 to 7 pm Thursday, January 22, 2009, at the funeral home. Burial is in the spring at Green Hill Cemetery.
