Obituary of Jeannette P. Crockett
Mrs. Jeannette P. Crockett, 93 years old, of Maple Avenue, died Monday at Nathan Littauer Hospital in Gloversville. She was born November 23, 1915 in Bath, Maine, a daughter of Otis and Margaret Rae Pero. Mrs. Crockett attended schools in Bath before moving to Brunswick, Maine where she resided until moving to the Charleston 4 Corners area in 1934. She resided in Randall after 1984 before moving to Fultonville. Mrs. Crockett was a member of the Charleston Christian Church. She was a homemaker and enjoyed sewing, knitting and crocheting. Mrs. Crockett, along with her husband, enjoyed traveling throughout the Northeast part of the country, especially the Adirondacks and Maine.
On December 31, 1933 she married Perley Crockett, Sr. who died February 21, 1991. She is survived by her son Perley Crockett, Jr. and his companion, Marion, of Randall, NY, her daughter Josephine Paul Mulligan of Niskayuna, NY, her sister Harriet McGuire of Pensacola, Florida, her grandchildren: Rachel of Niskayuna, Peter of Johnstown, Ronald of Amsterdam, John and his wife Cyndi of Latham, David and his wife Jan of Randall and Vincent of Canajoharie, several great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her parents Jeannette was predeceased by three brothers and one sister.
Funeral services will be held in the Spring at Charleston Christian Church. Burial will also be in the Spring at Charleston Christian Church Cemetery. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Jackson & Betz Funeral Home, 15 Main Street, Fultonville, NY. Memorial contributions may be made to the Charleston Christian Church.
