Amy,
I know that you thought of us when we struggled with Linda's illness and death this past year, and I want you to know that you have been in my thoughts these past weeks while you cared for your Grandpa and then found yourself with him at the end. Whether "it's time" or not, it's not easy to say good-bye to someone that's been such an important part in our lives. I wish you healing and peace. Be patient with yourself as you grieve and allow yourself to feel the sadness. One day, though you'll always miss your Grandpa, the sadness will give way a little bit and you'll smile when you hear someone say something he always used to say. Please pass my condolences along to your parents for me, and know that you all are in my prayers. With love, sherie

Dear Wes and family
I am so sorry for the loss of your father. I so wanted to make it to the funeral parlor to see you after so many years. I think the last time I saw you was about 20 yrs ago at a Class Reunion at Mary Anns.
I knew your father a little bit from the days I was with Brian Knapp. I never heard a bad thing about your dad. Everyone seemed to love him. I wish I had known him better. Now he's up in heaven with Brian sharing a joke and laughing about life's adventures. I would love to see you or talk to you to catch up on life. Never forget our Senior Prom!!!! Love you "father floyd".

Dear Aunt Anna and Cousins,
I send to each of you my love at this deep time of sorrow. Uncle Floyd was indeed a very special man, and in addition to all his other contributions he was my Godfather. He always treated me so special and I will always treasure those memories. He was a kind and gentle man that was always there for everyone with a big smile, a helping hand, and a thoughtful word. I know you will miss him dearly, as will the many people he helped and served through out the years. I have devoted my life to working with children, as an educator and school administrator, and now truly understand how the children that you provided foster care to benefited from your love and devotion. Though there are many miles between us, I hope at this most difficult time you can feel my arms around you as I send my love. Your are in my thoughts and prayers. With Love, Lizzy

Dear Anna & my extended family of nephews and niece
I am so very sorry that I could not come to NY with Chuck. Although I am not there to lend my physical support and hugs when needed, rest assured that each of you have been in my constant prayers. Floyd was the next thing to a "father" after the death of Albert Turo--giving Chuck advise and an everlasting example of the right path to follow in living. He will be greatly missed. God bestow his richest blessings on you in this our time of sorrow.

Floyd was like a second father to me in my childhood. My parents were very close friends and spent many, many hours with the Weaver's. Floyd and Ann always treated me like one of the family. Floyd would take me fishing, hunting and camping, he taught me to appreciate nature. I wish there were more people in the world like him, it would be a much better place.
God Bless you and your family.

I am sorry about the loss of your loved one. Words cannot describe feelings in a time like this. Many have found comfort in the Bible's promises of seeing our past loved ones again such as at John 5 verses 28 and 29. Take care of yourselves and keep memories of your past loved one close.
