I'm so sorry to hear of Mary's passing. Mary and I were in the class of 2000 Maria OT program days. I just received the Maria newsletter and read of her passing. She was always kind, gentle, and proud of her faith and her family. I remember her beautiful smile. She was a friend to everyone. My deepest condolences to her family.

Jim, Amanda, Justin & Family,
It has taken me a while to come to terms with Mary's passing. As you know I met Mary through my diagnosis of Ovarian Cancer. Although I only knew her for a few months, when we talked I felt like I had known her forever. She was a wonderful person, friend, wife and mother. She fought a tough battle and I can truly say that she was the strongest and bravest woman I have ever known. I am truly saddened by her passing and hope that her family and loved ones can take comfort in the memories and happy times that they all got to spend with her. God bless you all.

Mary Beth was very supportive & a welcoming face on my days of chemo at the Women'sCancer Care. Her strength & perseverance in dealing with this deadly disease was remarkable. By her strong faith, I know that she is in God's loving embrace. We were out-of-town the week that she passed. Our sympathy & prayers to Jim, Amanda & Justin.

My Dearest Jim, Amanda, and Justin...Someone once said that in all of our accomplishments we stand upon the shoulder of giants. I can't think of a taller, kinder, or more courageous giant than Mary. When a cure for cancer is found, it will be because of the strength, tenacity, and determination of people like Mary who refused to give up, invested herself in trial medical protocols, and persistently embraced life with a warm smile and a kind word. She gave us all a remarkable gift to cherish. She is a hero to many and she will be sorely missed. It is small compensation for your loss, but let us all keep her in our heart as an inspiration during the difficult moments and challenges ahead.
Hugs to you all.
