Obituary of Daniel J. Casabonne

Daniel J. Casabonne, 48, of Division St., Amsterdam, NY passed away Saturday January 24th, 2009 at his home with his loving family at his side. Born in Amsterdam, NY on December 8, 1960 a son of Walter and Dorothy Stark Casabonne. He was a lifelong Amsterdam resident. Mr. Casabonne enjoyed traveling with his family to Florida. He also enjoyed trips to the Auriesville Shrine where he would watch his father cut the grass there. Daniel was a communicant of St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church in Amsterdam. He was predeceased by his mother Dorothy Casabonne on March 8th in 1998. Daniel is survived by his Father Walter Casabonne of Amsterdam. Two sisters, Terry Furman of Amsterdam and Donna Nasadoski and her husband Leo of Amsterdam. His nieces and nephews, Jennifer Nasadoski, L.J. Nasadoski and Paul Furman. Aunts and Uncles, Florence Kazala, Geraldine Kaczor, Harold Stark, Richard Stark and Shirley Skowronek and Josephine Calderoni. Cousins also survive. A Memorial Mass will be held on Wednesday January 28th, 2009 at 9:00 A.M. at St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church in Amsterdam with Father John Medwid as celebrant. Inurnment will be in the Spring in St. Stanislaus Cemetery, Amsterdam. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or to the Auriesville Shrine.
