Obituary of Kimberly B. Pearce

Kimberly B. Pearce, 26, of Mohawk Drive, Tribes Hill, died Sunday, February 22, 2009 at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester with her family by her side, awaiting a heart transplant. Born on August 17, 1982 she was the daughter of Jon Pearce and the late Robin McRedmond. A lifelong area resident, Kim was a graduate of Fonda-Fultonville Central School. She later went on to attend FMCC and SUNY at Albany, where she graduated in 2006 with her bachelor's degree in psychology. Kim was employed as a senior counselor with Montgomery Transitional Services in Amsterdam. She loved kids, softball and will be missed by all who knew her. Her loving family includes her dad; her siblings, Cristin Cislo of Amsterdam and Jon Pearce II of Gloversville; her companion Julie Tesi and her children Tyler, Amber, Zoie and Ava; her best friend, Meghan McCall of Galway; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, February 26, 2009 at 11 o'clock at the Betz, Rossi & Bellinger Family Funeral Home, 171 Guy Park Avenue, Amsterdam. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery, Sandflats, Fonda. Relatives and friends are invited and may call Wednesday from 4 until 7 at the funeral home. Donations in her memory may be made to the American Heart Association or the Mend a Heart Foundation in care of the funeral home office.
