Obituary of Cory Desotelle

Cory Desotelle, 32, passed away suddenly on March 21, 2009. Born on January 19, 1977, Cory was lovingly raised by Allen and Louise Beach and family in Malone, NY. Cory was a 1998 graduate of Franklin Academy and later attended Northstar Industries. In 2005, Cory began a new adventure when he moved to the Sunmount DDSO, Rte. 30 SOIRA in Speculator, NY. He attended the Speculator Day Treatment Program and made many new friends. He moved to the Riverview IRA in Wells in May 2008. Cory was a loving person who touched the lives of all who knew him. Cory will be fondly remembered for his hearty laugh and wonderful smile. He loved funny movies, playing ball and going for rides. Cory will be greatly missed by his family and friends, including Allen and Louise Beach and their family which includes Cathy and Dudley Mamahon of Las Vegas, NV; Allen and Pam Beach of Broadalbin; Carol and Randy Blackwood of Gloversville; Joanne and Stan Korona of Perth; Jim and Jackie Beach of Malone; Alicia and Jeremy Monette of Malone and his friends at the Riverview IRA and Speculator Day Habilitation Program. Cory's funeral will be private. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Walrath & Stewart Funeral Home. 51 Fremont St, Gloversville. Burial will be at Ferndale Cemetery in Johnstown.
