Obituary of Luis Norberto Ramos

Luis Norberto Ramos, 52, of Kline St. Amsterdam, passed away unexpectedly Monday March 30th, 2009 at his home. Born in Puerto Rico on April 30th, 1956 a son of Efrain and Virginia Diaz Ramos Sr. He was raised in Puerto Rico and was a graduate of Aguas Buenas High School in Puerto Rico. Mr. Ramos was currently working part-time for the Brown Bus Service Inc. as a Bus Driver and for Centro Civico in Amsterdam. He was a member of the Jubilee Fellowship Church on East Main St. in Amsterdam. Luis was the most loving, giving and caring person to everyone who knew him. Mr. Ramos was also a trained Electronics Technician and enjoyed working on Cars and Carpentry. He married Ivonne Rivera Ramos on May 24th, 1997. In addition to his beloved wife survivors include, Three sons, Maher Ramos, Rod Jason Rodriguez, Elijah S. Rodriguez. One daughter, Vanessa Rodriguez. Two sisters, Maria Ramos and Ramona Ramos. Three grandchildren, Adam Ramos, Aaron Rodriguez, Giana Rodriguez and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins survive. He was predeceased by a brother Efrain Ramos Jr. in 1994 and his father Efrain Ramos Sr. Funeral services will be held on Thursday April 2nd, 2009 at 11:00A.M at the Betz, Rossi & Bellinger Family Funeral Home, 171 Guy Park Ave, Amsterdam with Rev. Harlow Gordon presiding. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Ft. Johnson, NY. The family will receive relatives and friends on Wednesday 4:00 to 7:00P.M at the funeral home.
